The Agent Factory book, turned into a queryable Content System of Record: its courses chunked, embedded, and served over MCP. Connect any AI agent or worker to it — claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cowork, or your own agents on any SDK — and it answers from the book instead of guessing. It's the same source Zia Tutor AI and Zia Developer AI read from, dogfooded on the book itself.

In the FDE AF Model, this record is the first instance of Layer 1: the SoR kernel. The same component that serves this book will serve every vertical's corpus, the body of governed content a profession runs on: accounting standards, clinical protocols, regulations. One component, many corpora.

The read-only Content System of Record is live over MCP. Add it as a custom connector in Claude and your own AI agent or worker answers grounded in the Agent Factory. The connection details are below. It's still in beta, so expect it to keep improving.

Connect any agent or worker

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cowork, or a custom agent on any SDK: anything that speaks MCP can connect and read the Agent Factory's content. One source, any host.

Grounded, not guessing

Your agent answers from the book and cites the exact section, instead of improvising from what the model remembers of training. When the source is unreachable, it fails closed: it says it cannot answer rather than make something up.

Stays live with the book

The record re-reads the book whenever a new version publishes, so it never drifts from the source. The book stays the single source of truth. The record is just the book, made retrievable.

The book's own stack

Postgres and pgvector, served over read-only MCP tools: the exact pattern the book teaches for systems of record and RAG, turned back on the book itself. We built it with the method we teach.

Connect the System of Record

Add it as a custom connector in claude.ai and your agent answers grounded in the Agent Factory. Copy the three fields, then follow the steps.

Beta 1It connects through claude.ai and serves the book’s core content: About through the Glossary, the ~80% path where most of the value lives.

Open Connectors in your claude.ai sidebar under Customize.

Click Add custom connector.

Paste the Name and the MCP Server URL below. Click a row to copy it.

Open Advanced settings. Paste the OAuth Client ID there.

Leave Client Secret empty. This connector does not have one. Type something there and it will not connect.

Click Add to save the connector.

Find it in your connectors list, click Connect, and approve access when Claude asks.

Now ask Claude something and watch it answer from the book: “Use the Agent Factory System of Record and explain what AI actually is.”
